Curb Appeal is Key
So many buyers fall in “love at first sight,” and making your home beautiful on the outside makes them take a second look. Paint your front door, replace worn door hardware, upgrade your house numbers, add potted plants, and maintain the lawn. These little things will make your home stand out in the mind of a buyer as they shop for a home.
Update the Interior
An upgrade can be as simple as staining or painting worn cabinets and replacing knobs and hardware. Painting rooms a fresh neutral color creates an inviting blank canvas where prospective buyers can imagine themselves making it their own.
Less is More
Bold wall colors can distract buyers from considering what it would be like to own your home, but so can prominent decorative objects and personal stuff like family pictures and kids toys. A quick declutter is all it takes to help buyers get a better feel for your home.
